David Patrick, M.D., Ph.D., is a cardiologist and an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Clinical Pharmacology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His research focuses on the relationship between inflammatory autoimmune diseases and cardiovascular disease. He was instrumental in discovering the relationship between activated immune cells and high blood pressure.
