Daniel Moore, M.D., Ph.D., is an associate professor of pathology, microbiology and immunology, and pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is a pediatric endocrinology and diabetes specialist whose research focuses on the pathogenesis and treatment of type 1 diabetes. This includes basic science studies defining immune therapy mechanisms, translational studies that have found abnormal pancreas size in T1D progression, and clinical studies assessing new immune therapies.
