Ashish Shah, M.D., holds the Alfred Blalock Endowed Directorship, is a professor and chair of the Department of Cardiac Surgery, and medical director of Cardiac Surgery OR Pod and Heart Transplant Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His research and clinical interests include cardiac surgery, heart transplantation and ex vivo reconditioning.
