André Churchwell, M.D., is Levi Watkins, Jr., M.D. Chair, chief diversity officer for Vanderbilt University Medical Center, senior associate dean for diversity affairs in the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and interim vice chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at Vanderbilt University. In these roles, Churchwell works with leadership to focus on diversity as it relates to the business plan, best practices to build a diverse physician workforce, and the local community and region.
