Rachel H. Bonami, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Division of Rheumatology and Immunology and the Department of Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her research seeks to understand how human B lymphocytes acquire autoantigen specificity and can support the development of autoimmune diseases like idiopathic inflammatory myopathies and type 1 diabetes.
