Amy Major, Ph.D., is an associate professor of medicine in the Division of Rheumatology and Immunology in the Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her research focuses on how immunological mechanisms of autoimmunity accelerate cardiovascular disease, and how dyslipidemia and the atherosclerotic environment influence normal immune function.
