Mariann R. Piano, Ph.D., is the Nancy and Hilliard Travis Professor of Nursing, senior associate dean for research, and postdoctoral fellowship director at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her research focuses on understanding the adverse effects of unhealthy alcohol drinking patterns on the cardiovascular system.
