Sarah A. Welch, D.O., is an instructor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her research interests focus on geriatric rehabilitative care with applications in acute care, post-acute care, and transitions of care with the implementation of evidence-based practices to improve processes and patient outcomes. She is a VA Quality Scholar and member of the Rehabilitation Medicine Scientist Training Program.
