Wesley H. Self, M.D., M.P.H., is a professor of emergency medicine, senior vice president for clinical research, director of the Vanderbilt Institute for Clinical and Translational Research, and principal investigator for the Clinical and Translational Science Award at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His research and clinical work focus on improving the treatment of patients with infectious diseases and critical illness.
