Andrew DeFilippis, M.D., M.Sc., is an associate professor of medicine and medical director of the cardiovascular ICU at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His research focuses on translational work to better understand, diagnose, and predict the full spectrum of myocardial injury events, specifically subtypes of myocardial infarction.
