Amanda Stone, Ph.D., is a pediatric psychologist and an assistant professor of anesthesiology and pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center whose interests focus on children and pain. Her research examines intergenerational factors associated with pain outcomes and medication use in children experiencing chronic and acute pain. Stone also is developing a new line of research focused on applying the intergenerational model of pain to children’s opioid use following surgery.
