Sara Horst, M.D., M.P.H.

Sara Horst, M.D., M.P.H., is an associate professor of medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As a gastroenterologist, she specializes in the care of patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. She is interested in patient-reported outcomes and psychosocial outcomes related to IDB, such as depression. She is the ambulatory medical director for Telehealth Ambulatory Services at VUMC and associate vice chair of digital health operations for the Department of Medicine.
